Tejaswini is an ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP) and New Jersey state-licensed speech therapist. She has extensive experience in pediatric feeding disorders and is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach to support children with feeding difficulties related to sensory issues, autism, delayed oral motor development, and g-tube dependence as an alternative source of nutrition.
She also has experience treating feeding and swallowing disorders in the adult population, including individuals with stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, and those dependent on g-tube feeding.
At Speech and Feeding Associates, Tejaswini provides specialized intervention for children with receptive and expressive language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, voice disorders, fluency disorders (including stuttering), hearing impairment, central auditory processing disorders, and social pragmatic language disorders.
She is trained in treating adults with aphasia, dysarthria, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and cognitive-communication difficulties resulting from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and degenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis and dementia.
Tejaswini is a PROMPT-trained clinician (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) with expertise in treating motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia of speech, apraxia of speech in adults, and improving speech intelligibility. She also has experience using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to enhance receptive and expressive language skills
