About Us

Tejaswini is ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP) and NJ state licensed Speech therapist. She is experienced with pediatric feeding disorders and is SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) feeding approach trained to help children with feeding difficulties secondary to sensory issues, autism, delayed oral motor development and children depending on g-tube feedings as an alternate source of nutrition. She also has experience with feeding and swallowing disorders in adult population due to stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, head and neck cancer, tracheostomies and adults on g-tube feeding as an alternate source of nutrition. At Speech and Feeding Associates, Tejaswini provides specialized interventions for children with receptive and expressive language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral  palsy, down’s syndrome, voice disorders, fluency disorders, stuttering, hearing impairment, central auditory processing disorders and social pragmatic language disorders. She is trained in treating adults with aphasia, dysarthria, fluency disorders, voice disorders, cognitive communication difficulties caused by traumatic brain injury (TBI) and degenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis and dementia. Tejaswini is PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) trained clinician to treat motor speech disorders such as childhood apraxia of speech, apraxia of speech in adults and to improve speech intelligibility. She has experience with Alternative Augmentative Communication to enhance receptive and expressive language skills.
